Enneagram Personality Training

(Sample Proposal)

INTRODUCTION

In response to your request for information about my services, I’m forwarding to you this proposal concerning Enneagram Personality Training. The Enneagram is a personality typing system that defines the nine types of people and how they relate. Enneagram Personality Training is designed to help professionals uncover their own personality types and to teach them to understand the personality types of their co-workers and clients.
Enneagram Personality Training will enable your staff to:
• Understand themselves and their communication styles.
• Interact more effectively with their co-workers.
• Discover the motivations, attitudes, fears and desires that impact your clients’ investment styles.
(Learn to read a room of people and intuit their personality styles.)
• Discern the communication styles of prospective clients and gear their presentations to their
particular personality types.
• Improve their personal as well as professional relationships.

They will better grasp how particular personality type interact with each other, and this knowledge will greatly impact their ability to meet their clients’ needs-to speak to them in a language they can understand.
I will give you a call on Monday, July 8, 1999, after you’ve had a chance to review this proposal to see how we can make Enneagram Personality Training work for Jacobin Financial.

The Enneagram

Enneagram comes from ” ennea,” for “nine and “grammos” which means diagram. Each point on the Enneagram refers to a distinct personality type (see chart below). People usually exhibit characteristics of one number, while being influenced by the personality types on either side. By learning about the Enneagram, you can better understand yourself and others and facilitate better communication with family members, friends and coworkers.

Nine Personality Types of the Enneagram

#1 – Perfectionist – Conscientious -has high principles
#2 – Giver – Loves to serve-seeks approval
#3 – Performer – Sets goals-strives for success
#4 – Romantic – Creative individualist-enjoys drama
#5 – Observer – . Absorbs information- a minimalist
#6 – Questioner – Loyal – frequently ask questions-doubtful
#7 – Epicure – The eternal youth-denies pain
#8 – Boss – Powerful-self reliant
#9 – Mediator – Avoids conflict-seeks peace
